About Us 

Inductosense designs and manufactures sensing technology to monitor corrosion which helps clients to save costs, reduce unplanned shutdown, meet net zero targets and migrate to a fully digitised solution. Our core WAND technology is based around patented embeddable, wireless, battery-free sensors and we have a full range of digital data collection solutions including IoT and robotics. The unique advantages of the technology also enable us to work with OEMs to integrate our technology into products during manufacture.

Since we spun out of the University of Bristol in 2015 we have been on a journey of product development, certification and trialling the technology with major companies globally. The Inductosense WAND technology has now been approved by some of the largest companies in the world, including Saudi Aramco (who invested in us last year), and our clients are now deploying our technology at scale and we are growing rapidly. Job Description 

We are looking for a Marketing Manager to work closely with the sales team in the Bristol office and lead on all marketing activities. This is a hands-on, pro-active role for an experienced marketing professional with a passion for creating dynamic marketing strategies. The role will include:


·      Developing, implementing and executing strategic marketing plans in line with company objectives

·      Working closely with the marketing teams in our partner companies to deliver collaborative marketing activities

·      Working with the rest of the sales team to align marketing activities with key customers and undertake customer research

·      Gathering market intelligence and providing actionable insights on market, competitors


·      Ownership of brand and corporate identity, including creation and publication of all marketing material for internal and external stakeholders

·      Content development - working with the team to create new and regular content, press releases, blog posts, awards entries and website content

·      Change management, including new product launches and distribution of current internal and external literature. 


·      Overseeing website updates, manage external web designer.

·      Responsibility for SEO, ongoing analysis and performance reporting.

·      Responsibility for Social Media channels and content development

·      Monthly reporting on success of digital activities, quantifying new leads.


·      Identifying relevant events/trade shows in accordance with budget

·      Planning and delivery of exhibitions, trade shows, webinars and external events.

·      Responsibility for data capture and follow up activities.

·      Attending events- developing a deep knowledge of the products and be able to comfortably demonstrate technology features and benefits to customers

·      Monthly reporting on success of event activities, quantifying and new leads.



The ideal candidate will:

  • be a 'hands on' marketing professional with at least 3 years experience in a marketing role.
  • have experience of working in a product-based start-up/SME
  • have demonstrated success in delivering international marketing strategies
  • have experience of B2B marketing
  • have some knowledge of the Oil&Gas industry
  • be confident, creative and dynamic
  • have strong interpersonal skills, ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally
  • be willing to travel internationally to tradeshows
  • be degree level qualified
  • be able to commute to a head office in Bristol and eligible to work in the UK
