

Inductosense appoints new Technical Account Manager for Asia, Yan Yi Lee
Yanyi Lee joins Inductosense as Technical Account Manager for Asia, bringing NDT expertise to drive regional growth and customer success.
We are pleased to welcome to our newest appointment to our commercial team, Yan Yi Lee (Yanyi) as Technical Account Manager (TAM) for Asia. In this interview, Yanyi discusses his background in chemical engineering, his responsibilities as TAM for Asia, and what excites him most about joining our team here at Inductosense.
Yanyi’s career has seen roles at Emerson and Guided Ultrasonics Ltd, where he developed a passion for ultrasound-based non-destructive testing technologies. Now, Yanyi is excited to join Inductosense and support its expansion across Asia to help customers enable the benefits of our cutting-edge WAND Solution.
What is your professional background?
I graduated with a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Manchester. I began my career at Emerson as an Application Engineer, where I focused on corrosion and erosion solutions. Later, I joined Guided Ultrasonics Ltd, a leader in guided wave technology, as their Business Development Manager for the Asia region. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with many brilliant individuals.
What industries have you worked in before joining Inductosense?
My experience has primarily been in the oil and gas industry, specialising in corrosion and erosion detection and monitoring solutions.
What is your experience working with similar technologies?
I have extensive experience with ultrasound-based non-destructive testing (NDT) solutions, similar to those at Inductosense.
What attracted you to the Technical Account Manager role at Inductosense?
I was drawn to the Technical Account Manager role at Inductosense because of the unique technology they offer, which I believe can greatly benefit asset owners in the region. I aim to help the company expand its presence in the fast-growing Asian market.
What will your main responsibilities be as a Technical Account Manager (Asia)?
As a Technical Account Manager, I will be the first point of contact for existing customers, handling both technical and commercial aspects. I will also work closely with our partners to grow Inductosense's market share and ensure our WAND TM Sensors are installed in facilities across the region.

I am excited to collaborate with the smartest minds in the industry, driven by a desire to grow and expand globally. Being part of a motivated and growing team, I look forward to sharing my experience and knowledge to achieve the company's goals together.
